Terms of Service
These terms cover the Eigin app, the Eigin Relay, and related services ("the Services"), provided by Eigin ApS, CVR 46428765, Denmark. By using the Services you accept these terms. You must be at least 18 years old.
1. Alpha software
Eigin is alpha software, provided for testing and evaluation only. Features may change or break without notice. The Services may be interrupted or discontinued at any time. Do not rely on them for critical purposes. Keep backups.
2. Your device, your data
Your data is stored on your device. You are responsible for your device, its security, and your backups. We have no access to your local data and cannot recover it.
3. AI output
AI-generated output can be inaccurate or inappropriate. It is not professional advice of any kind. You are responsible for evaluating it before relying on it. Local models are downloaded through the app, run on your device, and may carry their own licences.
4. Credits
Relay usage is metered in AI credits, bought through Apple in-app purchase. Refunds are handled by Apple under App Store policies. Credits do not expire, have no monetary value, and are tied to the purchase transaction, not to you. We cannot restore a lost wallet. Rate limits apply.
5. Acceptable use
Do not use the Services to break the law, infringe others' rights, or attack, overload, or gain unauthorised access to any system. Do not resell the Relay. Upstream providers' acceptable-use rules also apply. We may suspend access on breach.
6. Ownership
Eigin ApS owns the Services, including the Eigin name, logo, and software. Open-source components are governed by their own licences. You own everything you create with Eigin.
7. Third parties
The Services rely on third parties we do not control, including Berget AI (Sweden), Mistral (France), TensorX (Ireland), Mojeek (United Kingdom), and Apple. Providers or tools you connect yourself are your relationship, under their terms. We are not responsible for third-party services.
8. No warranty
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Services are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We do not promise they will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. Your mandatory consumer rights are unaffected.
9. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for loss of data or profits. Our total liability is capped at the greater of what you paid us in the past twelve months or DKK 500. Liability that cannot be excluded by law, such as for gross negligence, is not excluded.
10. Changes
We may update these terms during the alpha. The date at the top reflects the current version. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
11. Governing law
Danish law governs these terms, and disputes go before the Danish courts. Mandatory consumer-protection rules in your country of residence are unaffected.
